Presented at Villa Schöningen in cooperation with PASSAGE, Zwischen Bäumen places historical and contemporary views of the forest alongside one another. Across painting, drawing, sculpture and photography, the exhibition follows how trees and woodland have served as settings for myth, objects of Romantic longing, and subjects for studies of light and perception. The Villa’s park and lake landscape changes with the seasons while the works remain on view from September through March. Readings and classical music performances extend the exhibition beyond the galleries. Anastasia Shivrina is among the participating artists.

AFTER BLUE, BEFORE RED
DUVE Berlin × PASSAGE · Berlin Art Week 2026
DUVE Berlin and PASSAGE meet through purple, a colour located between red and blue in both perception and cultural history. The exhibition traces red through earth pigments, blood, power and urgency; blue through rare historic pigments, distance and contemplation. Purple carries associations with imperial privilege and, after the discovery of synthetic mauve, wider access. In these abstract works, colour acts through fields, folds, lines, repetition and gesture, changing how a surface feels before it forms an image. Anastasia Shivrina participates in the exhibition.

POLYPHONIC VIEWS
Shedhalle, Funkhaus Berlin · 12 September – 5 October 2025
At the Shedhalle in Funkhaus Berlin, PASSAGE brought together 36 artists in individual installations during the Spatial Festival. Polyphonic Views considers how performance can remain present after an action has ended: in traces of movement, in material forms, and in the viewer’s encounter with a work. Across the large industrial space, the installations create distinct experiences connected by this idea. The exhibition was curated by Victor Auberjonois and Konrad Biedenkopf. Anastasia Shivrina presented Floored, Seared and Endurance; installation photographs are also on this website.
